Travel Guide – Zostel

The brief was to design an illustrated map for the cities of New Delhi, Chennai and Dalhousie to be help travellers staying in the Zostel (a hostel chain in India), see the city by themselves as they would with a local, without missing out on experiencing the well kept secrets of the city.

Delhi

The Delhi map was designed in a manner to provide easy effective directions to a traveller for the massive city of Delhi. Mapping the area, along with placing the extensive content without cluttering the map was the biggest challenge in the process. Color palette, user manual and illustration style were carefully chosen to reflect the essence of the city, without losing functionality of the map.
