Commune di Milano came to us with an open brief of coming up with a service design solution to understand and plan a better city.
The aim was to imagine and design innovative ways for the city administration to listen to and/or collaborate with citizens related to macro-objectives pursued by the Municipality of Milan such as: Internal Governance for the Public Administration and Collaborative Platforms for engaging citizens along with a dashboard interface, to provide to the city planner a real-time extensive understanding of the city dynamics.
We started to explore our scope of intervention by understanding habits, practices and attitudes of the citizens of Milan with respect to Risks and Emergency situations faced by them in their daily lives.
